It’s been a phenomenal year for the Revive Property Services team and as 2016 draws to an end, we’d like to recap on the highlights of a hugely productive 12 months.
Winner of the ‘Property Company of the Year Award 2016’
Our biggest and proudest achievement of the year has to be being awarded the title of ‘Property Company of the Year Award 2016’ at the highly prestigious Downtown In Business City of Liverpool Business Awards. On July 21, the Revive team made its way to Sefton Park Palm House and enjoyed a glamorous evening, comprising of a fabulous ‘Gatsby’ themed dinner.
We have to admit, we were thrilled to have been nominated for the award, let alone win it! The whole night, as you can imagine, is a fabulous memory for everyone at Revive.
We were up against some of the biggest names in the property industry, so to be awarded such a credible and sought-after title, meant so much to us, particularly when you consider not so long ago we were a team of just two operating out of a car boot!
As we said at the time, we’re eternally grateful for everyone who voted for Revive Property Services to take home the ‘Property Company of the Year Award 2016’.
Working with some of the biggest names in housing
Of course, we wouldn’t be where we are today and picking up such prestigious awards, without the solid working relationships we have built up with organisations in recent months.
One particularly noteworthy agreement signed this year was secured back in April, with Sanctuary Housing.
Sanctuary Housing is one of Britain’s leading social landlords, with more than 100,000 homes across England and Scotland. Revive was delighted to win a framework bid with Sanctuary Housing to secure a three-year agreement with them, with the option of a fourth year.
We’re pleased to say that our collaboration with Sanctuary Housing is going well as we continue to ensure many of their homes in Chester and the North West are repaired to a high quality and in a timely manner.
Prior to our agreement with Sanctuary Housing we also became an approved contractor for another leading UK organisation, B&Q. Again, our work with B&Q has been going from strength to strength, as we continue to provide high quality Kitchen and Bathroom installation’s for many of B&Q’s clients.
One thing that has stood out this year by the work we’ve been undergoing and the clients we are securing relationships with, is how Revive is branching into new territories and embracing the challenge of acquiring a more diverse client base and delivering a broader range of specialist services.
We moved offices!
Another key highlight of 2016 was the move to our new office in Aintree during the summer. August is a typically quieter month for businesses so we seized the opportunity to move into our new premises in Aintree.
The move highlights the growth we have experienced this year, and we have to say, we’re delighted with our new working environment. From our Aintree base, we’re able to provide high quality property refurbishment, maintenance and repair services throughout the whole of the North West.
Woolton Wolfsburg sponsors!
Of course, our commitment to assist junior football teams in the Liverpool vicinity hasn’t waned this year, in fact, it’s moved up a gear!
In June we sponsored a new football team – Woolton Wolfsburg, a junior football club based in the Woolton vicinity.
Woolton Wolfsburg Juniors are going strong and we’re in awe of the team’s incredible fundraising efforts.
New members of staff
We’ve also welcomed several new talented members to our close-knit team, who are doing tremendous work with Revive and play, like everyone on our team, a valuable role in our continued success.
Yes, it’s safe to say, 2016 has been a busy, sometimes hectic, productive and always enjoyable year. May let it continue in 2017!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the whole of the Revive Property Services team.
